To Kristen, Barb, Dana, Debbie, Karen, Lisa, Patti C. & Patty V. I am so blessed and honored that you are my girlfriends.  How lucky am I?  I thank you with all my heart and soul for the bazillion hours making phone calls during soccer practices, dance classes and wherever you may be.  For the emails very early in the morning and late at night.  For speaking to anyone that would listen about our Fundraiser.  Freezin’ will be a Success because of all that you do. This poem is dedicated to you. “Girlfriends” There is a subtle difference between “friends” and “girlfriends” Girlfriends don’t compete; they inspire you to be your best. Girlfriends rejoice your triumphs and help pick up the pieces of your failures. Girlfriends not only listen when you talk, but they hear you. Girlfriends bring casseroles and scrub your bathroom when you are sick or your child lands in the hospital. Girlfriends keep your children and your keep your secrets. Girlfriends are always honest with you, even when you don’t want them to be. Girlfriends still love you even when they don’t agree with your choices. Girlfriends give silent hugs that make you feel that everything is going to be okay. Christine XOX
